Ghost Logistics
Reinforcement-learning agents move goods through the reconstructed interiors of Hong Kong’s vacant shops.
Sixteen flatbed trolleys stand in the room, and one motorised trolley loops against obstacles it cannot pass. On screen, agents move without friction through 3D reconstructions of shops where trade has stopped.
Between the trapped trolley and the frictionless agent runs a line from the coolie to the software agent: the body that carries is replaced, but the carrying goes on.
